I started as a Ham in 1976 in Argentina as LU7ECX. In 2015, after a long break due to several work relocations, I came  back to the hobby in Brazil as PY2BIL (former PU2TLU).

  • I'm a member of LABRE SP, the São Paulo chapter of the Brazilian Amateur Radio League; SDFARC, the SDF Amateur Radio Club and AMSAT AR, the argentinian chapter of AMSAT.
  • I also maintain a personal page at PY2BIL
  • My most recent project is rebuilding the packet radio infrastructure in São Paulo, starting with PY2BIL-4 running the BPQ node, BBS and chat server.
  • I like the outdoors and specially the SOTA program. Besides being a chaser, every now and then I do some activations myself.

All my QSOs are uploaded daily to LoTW. If you do not have an account set-up for LoTW then I would encourage you to do-so. It's free and saves a lot of effort and money for QSLing. Thanks to Log4OM, all my QSOs are also uploaded to QRZ, eQSL, HRDlog, HamQTH and Clublog right after the contact has ended, for those of you who use these services too. However, since they do not count against DXCC and other ARRL awards, I ask you also to send a QSL card or to consider submitting through LoTW. If you send a QSL card, then please use the Bureau if available to you but direct cards are also welcomed and I will reply to all of them. No IRCs or Green Stamps are needed.
