My QTH station is located at the wonderfull city of Ubatuba, at the north coast of the Sao Paulo estate, right in the middle of  the Atlantic Rain Forest! In my QTH some wild animals can be easily spotted such as snakes, lizards like the brazilian “Teiu”, urchins, skunks, capybaras and a countless numer of different species of birds, frogs and insects!

I operate mainly on the band of 10 and 80 meters. My main equipment is an Icom transceiver IC-746 but also an old Swan 500 composes the shack mainly for 80m operation! The antenna in use is a homebrew directional 4 elements Yagi Owa (singleband) at the top of a 10 meters high steel tower. For 80 meters operation my antenna is a wire dipole hung between two palm trees!

While in my QTH in the state of Rio de Janeiro, I operate under the prefix of PU1TNC.

I'm also interested on SWL and tracking stations such as the Marine Traffic Station and Sondehub, both hosted in my shack!
