My name is Eduardo Graziano, and I was born in São Paulo city in 1967. I have worked in aircraft maintenance for many years, but today I am a chef. It's quite a surprising career change! I am the father of André and Júlia, and I live in Tatuí. Tatuí is known as the Capital of Music and the Land of Homemade Sweets.

I started making my first contacts on C.B. radio at the age of 15, back in 1982 with two friends from my childhood, Ronaldo di Mauro (PY2RON / AE0KS) and Cosmo Greco (KO6AUF). Shortly after, I obtained my HAM license with the callsign PU2WEG, and later I was promoted to classes B and A, using the callsign PY2RIO. ZY2K and ZY2O are a specials callsigns that I use for DXpeditions and contests. My hobbies include cycling MTB, SWL (PU2172SWL), C.B. (Gruppo Radio Italia - 3AT145), Scouting (3 SP Tupancy Scout Group), and Freemasonry.

Since 2021, I have been participating in the WWFF, POTA, SOTA, and IOTA programs, which make my business travels more enjoyable. WWFF (World Wide Flora & Fauna in Amateur) and POTA (Parks On The Air) are activation programs focused on parks, reserves, and wildlife areas. SOTA (Summits on the Air) is an award scheme that encourages radio amateurs to operate in mountainous areas. IOTA (Islands On The Air) involves island expeditions. Here in Brazil, many of our parks are vast natural reserves known as Mata Atlantica, which is a unique ecosystem in the world. These areas are home to various wildlife species, including jaguars, pumas, poisonous snakes, and a wide variety of birds for observation. Currently, I work HF SSB/CW in my shack and on expeditions. I really enjoy operating Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites.
